Physical Therapy
Physical therapists can help improve or restore the mobility you need to move forward with your life. Physical therapists apply research and proven techniques to help people get back in motion. They are trusted health care professionals with extensive clinical experience who examine, diagnose, and then prevent or treat conditions that limit the body's ability to move and function in daily life.
Occupational Therapy
In its simplest terms, occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants help people across the lifespan participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations). Common occupational therapy interventions include helping people recovering from injury to regain skills, and providing supports for older adults experiencing physical and cognitive changes.
Speech Therapy
Speech-language pathologists (SLPs), sometimes informally referred to as speech therapists, specialize in the evaluation and treatment of communication disorders and swallowing disorders.
Respiratory Therapy
We have on staff, a Registered Respiratory Therapist who makes rounds at each facility to perform individualized assessments on all residents with COPD, congestive heart failure (CHF), Asthma, Pneumonia or any other respiratory related illness. These are performed one on one with the respiratory therapist and resident, and each assessment is personalized to best suit the needs of each resident, so that everyone receives the best care possible. Education is consistently provided to all residents as well as staff to ensure we can help decrease hospital admissions and speed recovery on all of our residents.
